The Countryman magazine, autumn 1951

In our everyday life we are sick and tired of excessive quantity of advertisements, but this magazine I bought because of ads. The Countryman, Autumn 1951 is just a treasury of vintage ads: from 224 pages 67 of advertisements. Although 62 years isn't a big gap of time,  but a lot of things have changed dramatically. In 1951 imperial portable typewriters were worth waiting for, not iPads. Flat tobacco pouches and home canning machines were bestsellers.
