Halloween is coming up and it's time to prepare cards and invitations. Most of the Halloween cards are in black and orange colors,  but it doesn't mean you can't use this vintage pumpkin clip art in your Halloween designs.

The Countryman magazine, autumn 1951

In our everyday life we are sick and tired of excessive quantity of advertisements, but this magazine I bought because of ads. The Countryman, Autumn 1951 is just a treasury of vintage ads: from 224 pages 67 of advertisements. Although 62 years isn't a big gap of time,  but a lot of things have changed dramatically. In 1951 imperial portable typewriters were worth waiting for, not iPads. Flat tobacco pouches and home canning machines were bestsellers.

Vintage Halloween Greeting Cards

All this vintage Halloween greeting cards signed by one illustrator E.C.Banks and were “Made in Saxony”. Actual manufacture is unknown, but all greeting cards manufactured in Germany from the mid 19th century down to the 1920’s were under “Made in Saxony”. At that time Germany was best known place for early tinted and embossed postcards and greeting cards.

This retro clip art of vintage wedding rings I did for my best friend wedding invitation. And it's not just some vintage rings, but those they exchanged on wedding.

Isn't it a nice and romantic idea?

For you I slightly changed it: there are two more vintage wedding ring pictures you can download: two rings without shadow and one isolated ring on white background. You may also use it for your wedding invitation design or other personal project.

This vintage street sign is my unique clip art picture I made in Illustrator with Artistic Brushes for "Bee Happy" - invitation design studio based in Tel Aviv. The main idea was to design wedding invitation for  Telavivers in hearts and minds, so I took picture of a real Tel Aviv street sign and made it look like vintage illustration. 

And that's how wedding invitation looks like: a small bird sitting on vintage street sign with the names of bride and groom instead of street names.
